WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM WEDNESDAY TO 8 AM MST THURSDAY ABOVE 4000 FEET
Winter Storm Warning issued February 28 at 3:19AM MST until March 2 at 8:00AM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ
* WHAT…Snow showers Tuesday night will become heavier and more
widespread during the day Wednesday and into Wednesday night.
Southwest winds of 15 to 25 mph, with gusts from 35 to 45 mph,
will create areas of blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE…Areas above 4000 feet near Doney Park, Flagstaff,
Grand Canyon, North Rim, Sedona, Valle and Williams.

* WHEN…From 5 AM Wednesday to 8 AM MST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Patchy
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds
could bring down tree branches.

Snow forecast from 5 AM Wednesday to 8 AM Thursday:

Doney Park 10 to 16 inches Flagstaff 16 to 22 inches
Grand Canyon 7 to 11 inches North Rim 10 to 16 inches
Sedona 5 to 9 inches Valle 5 to 9 inches
Williams 13 to 19 inches.
