WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO MIDNIGHT MST MONDAY NIGHT ABOVE 7000 FEET
Winter Storm Warning issued March 19 at 2:25AM MST until March 21 at 12:00AM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ
* WHAT…Heavy snow expected above 7000 feet. Total snow
accumulations of 4 to 12 inches, with 12 to 18 inches above 8500
feet on the Kaibab Plateau. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph on
Monday.

* WHERE…Areas above 7000 feet near Jacob Lake and North Rim.

* WHEN…From 5 PM this afternoon to midnight MST Monday night.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Patchy
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
commute.

Snow forecast from 5 PM Today to midnight Tuesday:

Jacob Lake 4 to 8 inches.
