WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM WEDNESDAY TO NOON MST THURSDAY ABOVE 5000 FEET
Winter Weather Advisory issued January 2 at 1:19PM MST until January 4 at 12:00PM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ
* WHAT…Snow expected above 5000 feet. Total snow accumulations
of 2 to 4 inches.

* WHERE…Areas above 5000 feet near Alpine, Buffalo Pass,
Dilkon, Eagar-Springerville, Forest Lakes, Ganado, Heber-
Overgaard, Kykotsmovi, Payson, Pine-Strawberry, Pinetop-
Lakeside, Saint Johns, Shonto, Show Low, Whiteriver and Window
Rock.

* WHEN…From 10 PM Wednesday to noon MST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning commute.

Snow forecast from 10 PM Wednesday to noon Thursday:

Alpine 2 to 4 inches Buffalo Pass 4 to 8 inches
Dilkon 1 to 3 inches Eagar-Sprgrvlle 1 to 2 inches
Forest Lakes 2 to 4 inches Ganado 2 to 4 inches
Heber-Overgaard 1 to 3 inches Kykotsmovi 1 to 3 inches
Payson 0 to 1 inches Pine-Strawberry 1 to 3 inches
Pinetop-Lkside 3 to 5 inches Saint Johns 0 to 1 inches
Shonto 1 to 3 inches Show Low 2 to 4 inches
