Winter Weather Advisory issued January 31 at 1:21PM MST until February 2 at 5:00PM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ
* WHAT…Snow expected above 6000 feet. Total snow accumulations
of 1 to 7 inches above 6000 feet and 4 to 14 inches above 7000
feet. Southwest winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE…Areas above 6000 feet near Doney Park, Flagstaff,
Fredonia, Grand Canyon, Jacob Lake, Kachina Village, Munds
Park, North Rim, Valle and Williams.

* WHEN…From 3 PM Thursday to 5 PM MST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Patchy
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The
hazardous conditions will likely impact the Friday morning and
evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches and
result in localized power outages.

Doney Park 1 to 2 inches Flagstaff 4 to 6 inches
Fredonia 0 inches Grand Canyon 1 to 3 inches
Jacob Lake 3 to 5 inches Kachina Village 6 to 10 inches
Munds Park 6 to 10 inches North Rim 8 to 12 inches
Valle 0 to 1 inches Williams 4 to 8 inches
