WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MST THIS EVENING ABOVE 6500 FEET
Winter Weather Advisory issued March 7 at 7:57AM MST until March 7 at 8:00PM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ
* WHAT…Periods of snow through the day, becoming locally heavy
at times this afternoon. Area roadways may become snow covered
and slick at times, with very low visibility. Accumulated snow
may melt between showers, only to become snow covered once again
as new showers develop. Most areas above 6500 feet will see 1 to
3 inches of snowfall today, with locally higher amounts above
7000 feet. Snow showers will decrease after sunset this evening.

* WHERE…Areas above 6500 feet near Doney Park, Flagstaff,
Forest Lakes, Fredonia, Grand Canyon, Heber-Overgaard, Jacob
Lake, Kachina Village, Munds Park, North Rim, Valle and
Williams.

* WHEN…Until 8 PM MST this evening.

* IMPACTS…Plan on periodic, slippery road conditions and low
visibility.
