WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 6 PM MST WEDNESDAY ABOVE 6500 FEET
Winter Weather Advisory issued November 8 at 1:57PM MST until November 9 at 6:00PM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ
* WHAT…Rain, snow and snow pellets becoming all snow in the
early afternoon. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches, with
locally higher amounts above 7500 feet.

* WHERE…Areas above 6500 feet, including Flagstaff, western
Doney Park, Grand Canyon, North Rim and Williams.

* WHEN…From noon to 6 PM MST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing
snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
conditions could impact the evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph, with gusts
as high as 50 mph, may cause areas of blowing and drifting snow,
along with near zero visibility at times.

Snow forecast from noon Wednesday to 6 PM Wednesday:

Doney Park 0 to 1 inches Flagstaff 1 to 3 inches
Grand Canyon 1 to 3 inches North Rim 5 to 8 inches
Williams 1 to 3 inches.
