At 1:02 PM today, Coconino County Sheriff’s Deputies attempted a traffic stop near Skeet and Cave View in Doney Park. During the contact, the driver fled, dragging a deputy a short distance and possibly injuring him, prompting medics to respond.
Authorities confirmed the driver has a felony warrant. Deputies initiated a pursuit, but the suspect jumped an intersection at Neptune and Colfax. A supervisor quickly ordered the pursuit terminated.
The suspect was last seen fleeing into the wooded area near Huttun Ranch. A K9 unit and a Helicopter are responding to assist with the search. No description has been provided yet.
⚠️ Residents are urged to avoid the area while deputies actively search for the suspect.

UPDATE 1:19 PM EMS has been asked to cancel. The Deputy was not seriously injured.
UPDATE 1:34 PM Suspect was last seen driving towards Cinder Hills, possibly Timberline Area. His car has extensive damage.
UPDATE 4:16 PM The search helicopter and crews on the ground have not been able to locate the suspect.
