FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — A 20-year-old Flagstaff man was injured early Friday morning after being struck by a train in downtown Flagstaff, according to the Flagstaff Police Department.
Officers responded at approximately 1:02 a.m. on March 27 to the 10 block of East Route 66 following reports of a train versus pedestrian collision.
Upon arrival, officers located Jeremey Baldwin suffering from a serious but non-life-threatening injury to his leg. Police immediately rendered aid until emergency medical personnel arrived on scene. Baldwin was later transported to Flagstaff Medical Center for further treatment.
According to investigators, Baldwin was impaired at the time of the incident. He was issued a summons for trespassing and underage consumption of alcohol.
Police say Baldwin had previously been charged in 2024 in a similar incident involving trespassing on train tracks and underage drinking.
The train involved was traveling eastbound on the southernmost set of tracks at the time of the collision.
