1:36 PM Highlands Fire Department is responding to the 3700 block.of Griffith Springs for a gas line that has been struck and is actively leaking natural gas. Fire officials on the scene say the hole is too big for them to repair and that Unisourse needs to respond with urgency. Fire officials are also asking for CCSO to respond for likely evacuations and road closures in the surrounding area.
