Flagstaff Police Update and Identity of Pedestrian Killed Last Night by Train

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE FROM FLAGSTAFF POLICE BELOW:

Flagstaff, Arizona – On March 14, 2025 at approximately 9:53 PM, officers from the Flagstaff Police Department responded to a report of an individual being struck by a train just west of the intersection of East Route 66 and North Beaver Street. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, identified as Jason Dolk, 54, of Flagstaff, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Initial interviews with the train crew indicated that Mr. Dolk was observed lying on the tracks, facing away from the oncoming eastbound train. The incident occurred in an area not designated for pedestrian use.

The Flagstaff Police Department is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.

At 10pm last night, Flagstaff Police and EMS were dispatched to the train tracks at San Francisco St for a pedestrian that was struck by a train. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. Earlier in the day, 2 other pedestrians were killed by a passing train in a separate incident in Flagstaff.
