OFFICIAL UPDATE FROM FLAGSTAFF POLICE: FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — October 1, 2024 — At approximately 3:00 PM, officers from the Flagstaff Police Department responded to the 2300 Block of S Beulah Blvd after receiving reports of a male placing an unresponsive female into a vehicle.
Dispatch provided a description of the vehicle, which was located and stopped at 501 S Milton Rd. Upon contact, officers found the female unresponsive and initiated life-saving measures. Medical personnel arrived shortly after and continued these efforts, but the female was pronounced deceased at the scene. She has been identified as Sandy Singer, 38, of Tonalea, AZ.
Investigators have executed multiple search warrants, processed evidence, and conducted numerous interviews as part of this active and ongoing investigation.

At approximately 3 PM Flagstaff 911 dispatch received several calls from concerned citizens saying they saw what they believed was a man abducting a woman. The man drove off and police were able to pull him over a short time later. Inside the car, they found a female with no vital signs. The suspect has been taken by detectives to the police department for questioning. There is an active crime scene investigation taking place at the Canyon Inn at 501 S. Milton Rd. and another one taking place at the Comfort Inn on Beulah Boulevard, both are related to the same incident. We will have more information if and when we receive it from FLAGSTAFF POLICE.
