Breaking: Downtown Flagstaff Shots Fired Incident Leads to Arrests

Flagstaff, Arizona – On July 11, 2025, at approximately 3:29 PM, officers from the Flagstaff Police Department responded to a report of a weapons violation involving a firearm discharge in Downtown Flagstaff. Officers quickly arrived at the scene and apprehended the suspected shooter.
The Criminal Investigations Division responded to assist with processing the scene and conducting multiple interviews. No injuries were reported, and all involved parties have been identified and contacted.
The incident appears to have stemmed from a road rage altercation between drivers of two vehicles. Both drivers were arrested and booked into the Coconino County Detention Facility:
Kavan Thomas King (28), of Camp Verde, was booked on one count of Disorderly Conduct with a Weapon (ARS 13-2904 A6) and three counts of Endangerment (ARS 13-1201 A).
Gian Ginero Rosano (37), of Flagstaff, was booked on one count of Reckless Driving (ARS 28-693 A).
