10:32 AM A Flagstaff Police officer just tried pulling over a driver with multiple felony warrants. The driver refused to pull over and a pursuit was initiated. The driver went the wrong way on San Francisco from Route 66 and was driving recklessly. Officers say the driver was with his girlfriend at the city court earlier when they initially spotted him and tried making contact. He was confirmed as having multiple felony warrants for Dangerous drugs, 3 aggravated DUI’s, drug possession, fleeing law enforcement, and resisting arrest. 2 minutes into the pursuit, a Flagstaff Police Deputy Chief ordered all officers to STOP and terminate the pursuit immediately. The suspect was last seen southbound on Beaver through NAU from Franklin in a white Chevy Silverado with New Mexico plates. He is a Native American male with a blue Hoodie, Tan and black Hat, and facial hair. UPDATE: NAU Police has found the truck abandoned near Allen Hall LOT 62. The driver is not in it. Officers are now canvassing the area looking for the suspect. UPDATE FROM FPD: The suspect has been apprehended and booked into the Coconino County Jail.
