4:41 PM: Flagstaff Police were dispatched to a shots fired call in the 600 block of W Route 66. Callers said 2 males opened fire in the area. One suspect is described as a Hispanic or Native American Male with a blue bandana and black shirt in the alleyway next to Kelly Commercial. Unknown if there are any victims, but medics have been asked to enter the scene. Updates to follow.
UPDATE 4:24 PM: Updated description is 2 Native American males wearing all black or dark grey clothing.
UPDATE 4:32 PM: Flagstaff Police have a perimeter set up and are canvasing the local businesses for video of the incident
UPDATE 4:40 PM: Officers have confirmed there are 3 suspects involved. NAU Police is now involved as well.
UPDATE 4:49 PM: Suspect running through the back of O’reillys through Kaibab. CCSO Deputies are possibly out with a suspect.
UPDATE 4:53 PM: The suspect CCSO was out with is NOT a person of interest.
UPDATE 4:55 PM: One victim was confirmed shot. He was transported to FMC.
UPDATE FROM FPD 5:11 PM: “Flagstaff Police are currently searching the immediate area of 800 W Route 66 for two individuals (pictured) who are believed to be involved in the shooting. They are described as young Native American males and believed to be armed.
