Coconino County Primary Election Day Information, Procedures, and Contact Information

The Primary Election is tomorrow Tuesday, July 30, 2024. The Coconino County Elections Department is setting up 38 polling locations, including 15 vote centers, staffed by 362 Election Board Workers. Polling places will be open on Election Day from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time. The Navajo Nation is on Mountain Daylight Time.

We will release Election Night Results after 8 p.m. on Election Day. The ballot tabulation/election results schedule will be:

  • 8 p.m. on Election Day – Early ballots tabulated through Monday
  • Updates after 8 p.m. on Election Day – Election Day ballots
  • Wednesday – No tabulation, no updates
  • Thursday – Final Election Day ballots (these are small quantities due to duplication and similar, if needed) and Early Ballots received up to 7 p.m. on Election Day
  • The final Early and Provisional Ballots will be tabulated Friday, August 2, through Monday, August 5. The final election results update will be on August 5.

The Canvass is scheduled for Friday, August 9.
