Around 9:30 last night (April 9), a Flagstaff police officer requested backup at 5000 N Mall Way at Elevation Apartments. The officer was attempting to make contact with two male suspects inside a vehicle for a possible DUI, but the males were not opening the door.

Once backup arrived, Flagstaff PD gained entry into the vehicle, deployed pepper spray and tasers, and got the suspects in custody. Two ambulances were also dispatched to evaluate the suspects around 10:15.
