In cooperation with the U.S. Forest Service on the Coconino and Kaibab National Forests, at 8 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024, Coconino County will downgrade from Stage 1 fire restrictions in place since June 28 in unincorporated communities and recreation areas in the County. Residents and visitors are encouraged to remain vigilant as even isolated fires can pose a public safety hazard. All are encouraged to exercise caution in their activities and when operating outdoor cooking appliances, barbecue grills, and vehicles.
