Flagstaff City Counsel holding public meeting to consider short term rental ordinance



The Flagstaff City Council will consider approval of a short-term rental license ordinance on June 20, 2023. During the meeting, the Council will hear a presentation from staff on the draft ordinance and license and if supportive, Council will read the ordinance by title for the 1st time. The final read and adoption of the ordinance is tentatively scheduled for July 3, 2023. The City aims to begin offering STR licenses in the fall of 2023.
The Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at City Hall (211 W. Aspen Ave). Members of the public are welcome to attend in person or virtually to listen to the discussion and/ or provide public comment. The Council Meeting will begin at 3 p.m., but an estimated start time for the STR item cannot be provided.
