Update: March 28, 2023, The Flagstaff Police Department Criminal Investigations division worked along with detectives in Denison, Texas to identify two juvenile suspects, ages 15 and 16, who committed the robbery at the Sunwest Bank. They were located in Barstow, California and taken into custody by Barstow Police Department on Saturday, March 25. There are several criminal charges pending against them at this time in several different states. The Flagstaff Police Department would like to thank all of the citizens who provided information that helped identify them and led to their safe capture.
****ATTEMPT TO LOCATE****
On 03/24/23 at 1235 hours, a young male walked into Sunwest Bank located at 121 E Birch Ave. This male proceeded to complete a robbery by providing the employee a note. This male then left on foot running west bound towards N San Fransisco St. He is described as being a young Caucasian male wearing plaid black and white pajama bottoms, two toned gray and black trucker hat and a gray sweatshirt with the lettering COLORADO written across the front.
