Incident: Head-on Collision Involving Fatality
Location: U.S. Highway 89, Milepost 479, between Tuba City, and Cameron A.Z., near U.S Highway 160 and U.S. Highway 89 Junction.
Northbound and southbound lanes are closed on U.S. Highway 89.We advise using an alternate route or delaying your travel in the area.The Navajo Police Department Tuba City District, AZDPS, Guardian Air, and ADOT is on scene
10:11 AM Highway 89 is closed both directions between Tuba City and Bitter Springs due to a very serious injury accident. This is at mile post 480, which is roughly 60 miles north of Flagstaff. Expect delays and use an alternate route is possible.
