9:00 AM A Flagstaff Police Officer was attempting to make contact with a shoplifting suspect near the Museum Club on Route 66 when the suspect became combative. The officer called for immediate backup and sad he was fighting. A short time later the officer advised his Taser was deployed and the suspect was struck in the eye with it. Medics are responding and the suspect is in custody.
