6:53 PM Flagstaff police are responding to the wooded area adjacent to Flagstaff Airport for a possible Weapons Violation. A caller on 911 is claiming he was shot by someone and doesn’t know exactly where he is at. Dispatchers noted the man may be mentally unstable. Officers are still trying to locate him, but have asked for the assistance of DPS Ranger helicopter.
UPDATE: DPS helicopter is out of service until tomorrow and cannot assist.
