2:12 AM Flagstaff Fire Department is responding to the Standard Apartments on 824 W RT66 for a fire alarm with sprinkler activations. Several engines are responding. Evacuation is in progress. Roughly 200 people are outside. Update: Engine 2 is on the scene with Police. Evacuation is complete and there is no smoke or flames showing from the exterior. Update 2: Command is releasing 2 engines from the scene. They have a key holder on site and are investigating. No signs of fire yet. Update 3: Crews have at least two apartments with fire sprinkler activated and water flowing from them. One unit appears to have had a small fire, but the sprinklers extinguished it. The fire was burnt food with trash placed on top of it. Residents being allowed back in now.
