FLAGSTAFF, Ariz – As part of the annual Road Repair and Street Safety Program, the City and its contractor, C & E Paving and Grading, will be reconstructing Lucky Lane between Butler Avenue and Bronco Way. The project will begin the week of September 23 and is scheduled to be complete by late November. The work will include the removal and replacement of the asphalt pavement, sidewalk repairs and replacements, and curb replacement and installation.

The contractor is planning to perform the work in three phases. During Phase 1 and Phase 2, business access will be maintained via Huntington Drive, Jay Street or Bronco Way. During Phase 3, crews will work to maintain driveway access on Lucky Lane, however, access may be restricted at times. Motorists are asked to follow the marked signage and flagging direction to get to their destination. Pedestrian and bicycle access will be maintained. Please be aware of loud noise and construction equipment within the work zone.

The City and its contractor are taking all possible measures to minimize the impact of this work on local residents and businesses. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve the City’s roadways for all users.

The annual Road Repair and Street Safety program is funded by Flagstaff voters’ 2014 approval of Proposition 406, a $100 million, 20-year dedicated sales tax for road repair and street safety projects.
