FLAGSTAFF, Ariz., Nov. 5, 2023 — Crews have completed a dozer line around the Tank Fire, located approximately 5 miles southeast of Flagstaff (GPS: 35.105949, -111.609329), and are conducting burnout operations within the line to keep the fire contained to a total of 61 acres.
This fire was reported at 1:35 p.m. Sunday by a member of the public driving on Lake Mary Road, and the cause is under investigation.
