12:29 Ponderosa fire department along with camp Navajo fire department are responding several units to the area of Silver avenue and Spitz springs road in Parks for an out of control burn that started as a controlled burn. Coconino county sheriff’s deputies are on scene and say the fire has spread to nearby bushes. Ponderosa fire has requested additional units due to the high number of homes in this area.
