At 2:52 PM a new fire was spotted by a fire lookout tower. The fire is located in the area of last week’s Ranch Fire which was 3 miles south of Flagstaff, near the airport. The lookout is reporting 4 piles on fire and trees torching. Dozer lines from last week’s arson fire still surround the fire. Several agencies are responding. Police have been requestes to respond. UPDATE: This morning s being called the DAMJND FIRE. update: 3:28 PM: crews are gaining the upper hand of this fire and forest service dozers are securing a perimeter around the flames. FINAL UPDATE: FIRE IS UNDER CONTROL AT 6 ACRES.
