From Flagstaff Police: FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — September 26, 2024 — At approximately 10:15 PM, officers from the Flagstaff Police Department responded to a report of a 22-year-old woman who had been struck by a bullet in the 200 block of W Aspen Ave.
Upon arrival, officers provided immediate medical assistance until paramedics arrived. The victim was then transported to Flagstaff Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation revealed that the shooting occurred when an individual standing with the victim discharged a firearm. This individual, identified as 22-year-old Ira Talashoma of Flagstaff, AZ, has been arrested for aggravated assault and booked into the Coconino County Jail.
