UPDATE: Disappearance of Kelly Paduchowski: Investigation Ongoing, Authorities Believe that Kelly may be the victim of a homicide.



FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – As of July 2, 2024, the Flagstaff Police Department continues to investigate the disappearance of Kelly Paduchowski, 45. The department is urging the public for any information that could assist in the investigation.

Timeline of Events:

  • June 30, 2024:
    • 10:20 am: Cellphone data from Kelly’s phone places it in the area of Schultz Creek Trail.
    • 11:30 am: Daniel Paduchowski, Kelly’s husband, is observed in the same area.
    • 12:13 pm: Kelly’s phone returns to the couple’s residence in the Coconino Estates neighborhood.
    • 1:30 pm: Kelly’s white Mazda CX-5 and Daniel are seen at Campbell Mesa Trail Head.

Daniel reported Kelly missing at 7:39 pm, indicating she might be in the area of Lake Mary. Since the report, the Flagstaff Police Department, along with the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue, has been actively searching for Kelly.

During the investigation, family members and witnesses were interviewed, and evidence was processed. This led to the arrest of Daniel Paduchowski, 58, on charges of aggravated assault. He has been booked into the Coconino County Jail.

While the investigation is ongoing, authorities believe, based on current evidence and information, that Kelly may be the victim of a homicide. The primary goal remains to locate Kelly.

Police are seeking information from anyone who had contact with Daniel, Kelly, or the vehicles mentioned on June 30th, 2024.
