Just after 6 p.m. yesterday, an eastbound BNSF train struck a white SUV that had become disabled on the tracks near the downtown Amtrak Station. As seen in the video below, the vehicle’s occupants managed to escape moments before impact. Police and emergency medical services responded to the scene, and fortunately, no injuries were reported.
