5:56 PM Several fire engines from Flagstaff and Highlands FD are responding to the rear of Little America Hotel for a wildfire. A CCSO Deputy is on the scene, saying he sees active flames and that the fire is only a couple of feet in diameter at this time. The fire was allegedly started by someone who discarded a cigarette. Battalion 1, Engine 113, Engine 146, Engine 126, and Water Tender 6 are all responding. Real-time updates will be below. No page refresh required.
6PM: Engine 146, Engine 126, and Battalion 1 are responding. Battalion 1 has asked all other responding engines to cancel.
6:02: Engine 146 is on the scene, saying the fire is out and that it’s only wood chips smoldering at this time. All units can cancel; Engine 146 can handle.
