2:11 PM Flagstaff Fire Department is sending multiple engines to a report of a wildland fire south of the I-40 near the Rio De Flag. Best access in near Lone Tree and Zuni. This is apparently in the same area that multiple fires have previously started due to transient/homeless camps. Updates will be in real-time below.
2:33 PM Crews reporting about an acre and a half burning in pine and grass. Slow rate of spread. This is off the Urban Trail. No threats at this time. Fire crews are asking for Police to respond because they may have the person who started this fire.
4:14 PM Crews have reported that forward progress has been stopped. Full containment soon
