WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM MONDAY TO MIDNIGHT MST MONDAY NIGHT
Winter Weather Advisory issued January 26 at 2:15AM MST until January 28 at 12:00AM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ
* WHAT…Snow showers will develop early Monday morning, especially
west of Flagstaff. Snow showers will intensify rapidly during the
afternoon and early evening, before tapering off after Midnight
MST. Expect general accumulations of 2 to 4 inches from Munds Park
to Flagstaff, with higher amounts heading westward along I-40.

* WHERE…Western Mogollon Rim.

* WHEN…From 5 AM Monday to Midnight MST Monday Night.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Even light snowfall amounts can
create hazardous driving conditions due to slippery, snow-covered
roads. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning
and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Forecast snowfall amounts from 5 AM MST
Monday to midnight MST Tuesday…

Doney Park: 1 to 2″ Flagstaff: 1 to 3″
Williams: 4 to 6″
