WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 5 PM MST TUESDAY
Winter Weather Advisory issued January 2 at 2:05PM MST until January 3 at 5:00PM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ
* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 8 inches.
The heaviest snow is expected Tuesday morning. Greatest
accumulations are forecast along the southern side of the
Mogollon Rim from Williams to Munds Park and Happy Jack to
Forest Lakes. Much less accumulation is forecast for the
northern side of the Mogollon Rim from Doney Park to Heber.

* WHERE…Areas near Flagstaff, Forest Lakes, and Williams.

* WHEN…From 11 PM this evening to 5 PM MST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery and snow covered road conditions.
Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The
hazardous conditions will impact the Tuesday morning commute.

Snow forecast from 11 PM Today to 5 PM Tuesday:

Doney Park 1 to 2 inches Flagstaff 2 to 4 inches
Forest Lakes 4 to 8 inches Heber-Overgaard 0 to 1 inches
Williams 4 to 6 inches.
