Small Wildland Fire in Flagstaff

At 5:28 PM Flagstaff Fire Department and police department were responding to reports of a small brushfire near country club along the interstate 40. Reports are that flames are 10 feet high and that this is likely from a homeless camp in the area. Several callers. North side of Interstate.

Update 5:32 PM: Engine 3 is on scene reporting two separate fires with one of them being larger than the other. nearby structures are possibly threatened. Asking for additional resources. A water tender is responding as well.

Update 5:39 PM Battalion one has assumed incident come in. DPS has been required for traffic control.

Update 5:59 PM: water is being placed on the fire. This is causing a large back up on interstate 40

Update 6:03 PM: Fire is under control. Crews are in Mop up stage
