Council and Water Commission to review proposed changes to water rates during March meetings

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz – The Flagstaff City Council and Water Commission are holding two joint meetings in
March to discuss proposed changes to wastewater, water, and reclaimed water rates. The changes
discussed will impact all City customers that pay for water, reclaimed water, or sewer services, including
single-family residential, commercial, manufacturing, and institutional customers. Members of the
public are invited to join the meetings and provide feedback.

Date/ time: Monday March 4 at 3 p.m.

The City Council will vote on a final draft of changes to water, wastewater, and reclaimed water rates on
April 16 with final adoption of changes scheduled for June 18 and July 2. Final changes would be
effective Sept. 1, 2024.
The City of Flagstaff is conducting a rate study to evaluate the rates and fees paid for water, wastewater
and reclaimed water services. The City’s goal is to continue providing clean, safe drinking water and
sanitary wastewater services for the community of Flagstaff. For further information or to provide
