FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Former KAFF Radio personality Dave Zorn has been sentenced to 1.5 years in prison followed by 10 years of supervised probation after accepting a plea agreement connected to a multi-agency child-sex-trafficking investigation earlier this year.

Zorn was among nearly 30 individuals arrested during the regional operation targeting online child exploitation and sex trafficking.

During todays court hearing, Zorn expressed remorse for his actions, telling Judge Joshua Steinlage that his behavior destroyed his career and deeply hurt his wife and family.

Zorn’s defense attorney told the court that Zorn has sought and continues to receive mental-health treatment, emphasizing that the likelihood of him reoffending is “highly unlikely.”

Under the plea deal, Zorn must continue therapy and complete 100 hours of community service as part of his probation conditions. Should he violate probation, he could face an additional eight-year prison sentence.

Court records show Zorn was initially booked on seven counts of luring a child for sexual exploitation and one count of attempting to furnish harmful items.

Zorn previously served as news and sports director at KAFF Radio, hosted Northern Arizona University’s halftime broadcasts, and taught journalism part-time at NAU for three years.
