FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Flagscanner first reported yesterday on a developing situation at an apartment complex on East Courtland Boulevard that resulted in a major police response. Today, the Flagstaff Police Department has confirmed additional details and announced the arrest of a suspect in the case.
On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at approximately 2:31 p.m., Flagstaff Police dispatchers received a non-emergency call regarding a violation of a protection order. During the call, dispatchers could hear a situation rapidly escalating in the background. Officers were immediately dispatched to 5205 E. Courtland Blvd.
Upon arrival, officers observed blood on the apartment door and forced entry into the residence. Inside, they located a victim suffering from life-threatening injuries. Officers provided immediate medical aid until EMS arrived and transported the victim to Flagstaff Medical Center for emergency care.
The Flagstaff Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division took over the case. The suspect was identified as Micheale Domonique Gordon Foster, 28, of Flagstaff, who was located nearby shortly after the incident and taken into custody without further violence.
Investigators executed a search warrant at the residence and conducted multiple interviews as part of the ongoing case. Foster has since been booked into the Coconino County Jail on charges including attempted murder, kidnapping, aggravated assault, and other domestic violence-related offenses.
