The first batch of results will be released by Coconino County on Election Day after 8 p.m. These results will reflect early ballots processed and counted by Election Day. Following this first release of results, additional results are uploaded periodically through the night as Election Day ballots are delivered for counting.

Due to the number of write-in candidates this year, election results for write-in races will take more time to process. Write-in votes must be tallied by a bi-partisan board and take significantly more time. The bi-partisan board inspects every write-in candidate cast to determine voter intent and to tally the votes to the appropriate candidate.

The first release of results of early ballots will include results for the official write-in candidates. There will not be any updates on write-in candidate results on election night. Updated results on write-in candidates will be posted on Thursday, November 10, with additional updates coming throughout the following week.

Please note that as per state law (A.R.S. § 16-645(C)) write-in candidates are required to meet a minimum threshold of votes to be officially elected. Accordingly, a write-in candidate must receive at least 1,602 votes to be considered.

Questions may be directed to Coconino County Elections at (928) 679-7896, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
