The Flagstaff Police Department is aware of intermittent issues occurring at the Ponderosa Parkway railroad crossing, where the crossing arms are lowering despite no train being present. We understand the inconvenience this causes and want to assure the public that we are actively working in coordination with BNSF Railway to diagnose and resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, we recommend motorists consider using alternate routes to avoid delays in the affected area. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated as we work to address this matter.
