At around 4:30 am Friday morning, Flagstaff Police attempted to pull over a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on S Milton. The vehicle continued evading the officers and began smoking around Babbit and Butler. Spike strips were successfully used at one point. CCSO was also called to assist. Speeds were in excess of 70mph and the driver was driving very erratically. At 4th St and Huntington, the driver fled on foot and a foot pursuit took place. Officers were able to catch the driver and detained him between two businesses in the area.
