FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — The Coconino County Recorder’s Office is reminding residents that all voted early ballots must be received no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 4.
While the recommended mailing deadline has already passed, voters still have time to return their completed early ballots in person. Ballots may be dropped off at any official ballot drop box or early voting site across the county.
A full list of early voting locations and ballot drop box sites is available online at coconino.az.gov/elections.
On Election Day, early ballots can also be dropped off at any Coconino County polling location between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.
The Recorder’s Office emphasizes that voters must sign the outside of the return envelope for their ballot to be counted. Ballots missing a signature cannot be processed. Under Arizona state law, voters are required to personally vote and sign their own early ballot envelope, which serves as verification that the ballot was cast by the registered voter.
Additionally, state law limits who can return an early ballot. Only the voter, a family member, household member, or caregiver is legally permitted to drop it off.
