FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — The Coconino County Recorder’s Office is reminding registered voters that Friday, July 10 at 5 p.m. is the deadline to request an early ballot by mail for the July 21 Primary Election.
Voters who are enrolled on Arizona’s Active Early Voting List (AEVL) and are registered with the Republican, Democratic, Libertarian, Green, or No Labels parties should have already received their ballot in the mail.
Registered voters who are listed as Independent, Other, or Party Not Designated must contact the Recorder’s Office to select which party’s ballot they wish to receive, even if they are enrolled on the Active Early Voting List.
Residents who still need to request a mailed early ballot may contact the Recorder’s Office at 928-679-7860 or 800-793-6181, or submit a request online through the county’s elections website.
Officials also remind voters that completed early ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on Election Day to be counted. Ballots returned by mail should be sent no later than July 14 to allow enough time for delivery.
Completed early ballots may also be dropped off at any early voting location, official ballot drop box, polling place, or vote center throughout Coconino County before the deadline.
Voters who prefer to cast their ballot in person may do so at any designated early voting location. A list of early voting sites, ballot drop boxes, and additional election information is available through the county’s elections website or by contacting the Recorder’s Office.
